I have been interested in ski areas since I was old enough to read. I started skiing 1990 at Berkshire East Ski Area in Charlemont, MA.

I started taking digital photographs of ski areas throughout New England and beyond in 2002. I explored many open and closed ski areas on weekends (and often weekdays when I should have been in class) during my college years at UMass Amherst. I still do check out areas when I can, however I have less time to do so nowadays.

I took all of these photos on this site. I am making them available to you for viewing so that you can see areas you may have not seen before and so you can see how areas have changed over the past few years. You may see some of these photos on NELSAP, Chairlift.org, and Skilifts.org. They have asked for permission. No photos on this site can be used anywhere else without asking for permission - skiphotos@franklinwebpublishing.com.
