About

Loon Mountain
Lincoln, NH

North Peak at Loon

Summary
Loon, Booth Creek's New Hampshire crown jewel, is a very popular vacation destination. With the exception of the gondola, the vertical is not serviced by a top to bottom lift and as a result, skis rather awkwardly.

Trip Reports:
Date of Visit Type of Visit
April 8, 2007 Ski
I skied a snowy, cloudy, windy mid-winter morning at Loon in April. Though there were no lift lines, the trails were somewhat crowded.
November 25, 2005 Base visit
I had a hot cocoa with my cousin Sam in the lodge at the bottom of the gondola. A decent sized crowd was skiing a limited amount of terrain.
September 11, 2004 Drive by
I drove by Loon and took photos of the incomplete expansion toward Lincoln.
March 19, 2003 Ski
I skied Loon with my friend Jamie. Conditions were spring like and much of the terrain was open.
